Fabric memories

I saw a post about the benefits of young boys playing with dolls. I thought back to my son's doll, George, who was a constant companion. As I was digging in my fabric stash to find some felt to complete my son's Halloween costume, I came across scraps from the fabric I used for George's overalls.
Delightfully ugly fabric, isn't it? It was perfect for George.

  1. My son's first doll was a Baby Brother Tenderlove, whom he named George, or, more often, George-baby! LOL Daniel was 3 years old when we got him; he had been abused and neglected. George-baby and I helped him learn how to take good care of a baby, and our son became, first, a good baby-sitter and, later, a good dad!
