It is a sign of progress

I got my table cleared. It was full of so much that is weighing me down, hindering my progress. Some of it was tossed, some hemmed or mended, too much transferred to boxes underneath to deal with on another day.

I really want to make a pair of linen pants for our travels.

I am proud of my red flannel tubes filled with buckshot that no one but me ever sees.

  1. Are the red tubes weights for holding patterns? If so, great idea. Do you think something other than buckshot would work? (No idea where to buy buckshot.)

  2. Yes. You can get buckshot at any sporting goods shop that sells guns, even Walmart. You can use dried beans, but they are less dense and may not work in narrow "bean bags".
